Fewer failures, more zen
Snowflake needed to build awareness for their latest product, Snowpark, which streamlines workflows for data engineers. We worked closely with product marketers at Snowflake to develop a social campaign focused on the benefits of using Snowpark.
We kicked off the social campaign series with an animated video about how Snowpark speaks your language.
Zen through control
Data engineering is a field defined by constant change. No matter how many answers data engineers deliver today, there’s a mountain of new problems awaiting them tomorrow.
Agents of this change, their solutions must integrate seamlessly with existing systems to be truly effective.
Given this inherent uncertainty, what data engineers seek is straightforward: preparation for known challenges and the flexibility to adapt to the unknown.
Giving them more control results in fewer failures, and more zen.
Social-first demo teasers
After launching the initial awareness video for Snowpark, we followed it up quickly with demo content of value to developers.
ELT is a common industry term for Extract, Load, Transform and people enjoyed the new spin on what it might mean using Snowpark. We were also able to reframe UDFs (User Defined Functions) in new fun way.
Building community culture
Taking cues for UGC-style social content, we focused on making it as fast as possible to communicate with our audience in a fun way.
T-shirts were also made as giveaways for their annual user conference, Snowflake Summit, and were a hit sellout item within the developer community.
RESULTS
Not only did we engage the audience, and also Snowflake’s CMO in the comments, but our clients were thrilled to win a Folio Award for Best in Social Media from the Fair Media Council
